Family pages and others

I have been thinking of family a lot lately. Maybe because I have been doing some preplanning for the upcoming summer trip. Anyway I dug up some old photos and scrapped them. Some for challenges and some just cause I wanted to. :)

First of all I did a layout for Tara's ribbon and button blog challenge. I used one of Ally's sketches for this one and had a blast doing it.(Actually I have used Ally's sketches for all these layouts.) I used scrumptious supplies that I just received from Deanne in Newfoundland for a prize I won a while back for doing her Christmas cards all year round.



The next one was for the Apprentice Week 5 Task 3, oh boy this one was a doussie.. "In honor of serving Christmas dinner to half of my little ones' school today, your task this time is a smorgasbord! Intrigued yet?

For this task, I want you to find a minimum of 4 pictures all taken at different times, events, years etc and find some kind of connection between them other than the obvious. Don't just pick a Christmas photo from different years.

Dig deep, is there some other connection? Maybe there is a certain piece of clothing you or someone else is wearing at all the occasions, maybe there is the same view behind you all? Get creative and show me how you can collect all kinds of different things and put them together to make a great "meal". "
Well all my pics were taken at different times but the connection was obvious.. we are all siblings LOL. Once again I used my goodies I got from Deanne.. so nice having something new to use.



For the next one, I just decided it was time to do a layout about the extended family.. eg neices and nephews so I started with my favourite Brother and his wife and their kids. This is my brother Allan's family.. once again the photos are all taken at different times and I have no idea when, where or what ages they were at the times they were taken.



I am off to find something else to scrap now. I am having a scrappin good time, hope you are too.
