No News

They say that no news is better than bad news. I really don't have much to report in the way of news. I had the final surgery on my left eye. According to the surgeon it went well. I am somewhat disappointed though because I don't have the vision that I had hoped and dreamed about. Even though I apparently was dreaming on a wet pillow, I was expecting to not have to wear glasses anymore but that is not to be the case. I do however how great vision for reading and do up close work. I can now work on my computer and do my scrapbooking without using my nose. I will no longer need trifocals or even bifocals. Maybe I will even be able to wear contacts again, which will be wonderful. However, I am still disappointed.. all the people I know that had the surgery done could get rid of their glasses. I will have to get over that and get on with my life. It is terrible to be one of these people who don't handle disappointments very well.

I have not been doing any scrapping lately, heck I haven't even been on the computer lately. I have not been doing much of anything lately other than moping around doing a lot of this and that and really getting nothing done what so ever. Oh yeah, I did start crocheting again and have one doily almost finished. I just can't sit still for any length of time. Maybe ten minutes tops.

I am expecting my little darlings today to put up Nana's Christmas tree because you know Nana is much too old to do that herself any more ;) I am looking forward to this.. should be quite the treat to watch them strut their stuff. Should also be an interesting looking tree when it is finished because Daniel will be helping this year. The photos in my header are of them doing my tree last year. hahaha.

Jackie my daughter has the surgery is probably going to have to have it again and she said she is going to have to wear reading glasses. I also know several other people who have had to have the surgery more than once.

So be thankful that you no longer will have to wear bifocals.

I wondered where you were. I guess you'll get lots of pictures while your treasures are near. :)

Hi Sweetie!

I have missed you this past week.

I am glad to hear that your vision is improved, but sad for you that it is not quite what you were expecting.

Take care and keep in touch!!!
