Yummy Goodness

I received my January kit today from The Flying Unicorn and like a kid at Christmas, I couldn't wait to tear into it. This was the best kit ever, so much yummy goodness in there that I was just hitching to start creating.

I also got my package of Gelatos..Oh my goodness!!! There was certainly no disappointments with those like there was with the Tim Holtz Distress Markers. I have been playing with them like crazy and they work on anything and really work good. They blend perfectly and with just the tip of your finger too. I used the water blender on them, a brush and a sponge and they all work great. If you do any colouring, these are a must have. The colours are so rich and vibrant, if you haven't figured it out yet, I LOVE those babies!!!

I decided to do the Kit of the Month challenge and I had a blast playing with the new goodies.

Here is the layout I did.

I used the Cricut Craft Room program and the Ornamental Iron 2 cartridge to cut my doilies. I embossed the edges using Stampendous aged ochre embossing enamel. I used the Gelatos with the  elongated hexagon mask from Huey Masks, the I used Glass beads gel on it.
The three coloured flowers were the same colour as the white ones until I worked some magic with the Gelatos on them and a bit of puff paint. I also used Gelatos on the chipboard fan and bow. The alphas are Pink Paislee Portfolio Alpha Stickers. I used Ranger—Dabber Lake Mist just a little above my photo to have a spot for a bit of journalling.

Too bad I have to work tomorrow cause I wanna keep playing LOL.
