I wish that companies would put directions on their products, especially when you pay an arm and a leg for them LOL. A couple of days ago I picked up some new mediums to play with, some Crackle Paste and some Glass Bead Gel.. there are no directions on these mediums but they both cost me approximately $20 for a small jar of each. The first time I used the glass bead gel it turned out beautifully but the Crackle Paste did NOT work at all so I am going to have to play with it to figure out the best way to use it to get it to work... that means wastage of a precious commodity..tsk..tsk..tsk... I do NOT like that idea at all.
Okay on with my layout that I just completed. First I swirled on a layer of gesso, then I mixed several green paints and brayered that on. I used some Crackle Paste... I drew a flourish with puff paint, at least the girl in the store told me it was puff paint, I'm not so sure about that! I also used a rub-on flourish. I did a bit of misting with some red. I fussy cut the little butterflies.
I stamped a flourish with green paint then outlined it with white gel pen.
I also used some glass bead gel...love the way it picked up the colours beneath it.
Overall I am pleased with the outcome but I still need lots of practice. LOL
