Mistified 101 and Out of the Kitchen

I have completed two more classes and am rather happy with the results. Oh my these classes are so much fun, you really should hop on over to The Flying Unicorn and see what it's all about. Great chance to win some great prizes too.

Okay the first one I completed was Mistified 101 by Miss Stephanie. Of course the title tells you that misting was involved but you have to go to FUL to read the full instructions :)

For this one I used fabulous paper from Websters Paper. Then I used bubble wrap sprayed with mists to stamp my paper. Then I used "You Spin Me Around" stamps from
Gel-a-tin stamps with both black ink and pink mists to stamp some circles. For my flowers I cut three strips of paper and then fringed them. I then rolled them up and voila.. three gorgeous flowers. I also used some flowers from Petaloo.

The second one was Out of the Kitchen with Ms Laura. Now with just the title you know this is not going to be any ordinary class and knowing Ms Laura you hold your breath waiting for the coin to drop LOL. Well, it was a messy fun class to be sure.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun doing it and this is what I came up with. I used papers from K&Company.. the Botanical line.

That's it for now, can't wait for the next class to start.

Of course we still have our regular challenges going on. Adriene's challenge was to Edit our photo in some way. I used a mask on my photo plus I put the title on it before I printed it.

Shona challenged us to "embrace the space", man that was a tough one for me cause I love to add and add until there's no space left. However, I did manage to do this one.

Stephanie challenged us to use "found" objects on our layout. Well I have many little objects that I have found here and there. The beige tag came off a piece of clothing and the little buds on the Explore card, just happened to drop on my plate when we were camping.

Jax challenged us to tell about our summer vacation... well my summer vacation started and ended the same day thanks to a stubburn sick husband. Therefore my layout contains lots of journalling.

Stay tuned, you never know what's coming up next LOL

I really must do the misting challenge...
I too had to sit on my hands for the white space challenge...it was difficult!!
I haven't had my summer holiday yet...we're off next week.
Hope you're keeping well (and hubby too).
Hugs xx
