I thought it was Spring!

The sun was shining, the temperature was 49degrees Fahrenheit so I thought it was spring until I heard the forecast for the rest of the week that is. Another cold front moving in and going back down in the 20's...... Oh dear I fear I am starting to dislike winter. Well maybe just for now because I am tired of it already and want to feel the warmth of the sun against my face. I am getting "trail itch" LOL I can't wait to get back on the walking trails, to watch the return of the birds. I want to go camping... yep I am getting cabin fever.

I did a couple more challenges from Tara's blog.
Challenge #8:
I would like to see you use an embellishment cluster on your next creation.
Okay so this was right up my alley. I love using embellie clusters although I don't use them very often. I mean they look so pretty and all but they are just going to get flattened once I put them in the album after all. I cut the flowers and butterflies from the paper, also used some Maya Road Chipboard and some ribbon and beads.

Create a pretty and flirty layout. You can use bling, glitter, lace, ribbon or flowers.
Well now I can do this easy enough. I managed to use bling, lace and flowers on mine. I love this pose that my darling lil Samantha pulled for me.

For sketch #40 from Creative Scrappers I dug out a photo of my DH loving on Colonel. He likes to pretend that he don't like the dog but we all know better.

And then because I ran out of challenges I did one just because I didn't have anything else to do.
