In All Things Give Thanks.

I have been trying not to give in to my feelings this past few days and I have finally overcome. It has been so hard not to just want to wallow in self pity. However, I have been giving thanks that I am not totally blind. I can't imagine what it would be like to have no vision what so ever! That would be so very awful. I can still cope with life even though it is somewhat difficult. I feel like I have my eyes crossed all the time but I came up with a solution. I cut a piece of black cardstock to put over my right eye lens and that helps tremdously.
I even managed to work for a few minutes today and that gave me a feeling of self worth. My dignity returned for a few minutes. I still had some value if only for a few minutes LOL. I also managed to create a layout and a Christmas card. If I can do one, I can do others. I may be slow but I can still do them.
God is good, so good to me. I give Him all the glory and praise. If it is His will that I not get my vision back, then I will yeild to His will, He knows what He is doing. Mind you, I can't help but hope it isn't His will but I will trust Him.
Here is the layout that I created. It is of the children playing at the Jungle Playground at the African Lion Safari. They had so much fun there. They would come out the one end and run around to go back through again right away.
I used my new Noteworthy products on this layout. Aren't they pretty?


Here is the Christmas card I made, it is an interactive one. You have to pull the ribbon to slide the card in or out of the envelope. I really love this ribbon, I received it in a RAK from the UK so I don't expect to find any like it around here.




Okay I am off to scrap some more photos from the safari. Yes someday I am expecting to finish them all. :)
