A Toast

It is my day once again on the Just Imagine/Kreaxions Blog and once again I have another beautiful Wedding layout.  I love using the Kreaxion's punches on my wedding layouts because they are so elegant.
To create this gorgeous Layout I used ColorBok papers, cardstock stickers and the title from Momenta, Cardstock from Bazzil, flowers from Michaels, ribbon and bling are unknown and for the borders I used Kreaxions punch #301 without any insert.

Busy busy busy

Yes I have been a busy little bee, scrapping to my heart's content. I can honestly say that my mojo has returned and I think maybe it brought someone else's with it.  I have been scrapping on the average of one and a half layouts per day all month.  So far I have finished 40 layouts. Not to mention my projects and cards.  I am quite pleased with myself. LOL

Now I  have to admit these layouts are not the fancy loaded kind that I have been doing in the past but there is a reason for that, I just can't afford to do those layouts anymore.  Also, I have decided that they really don't fit in the albums properly and once they are placed in the albums, they just don't look so good because they become flattened.   They are fine if  you are going to be displaying them on a wall or whatever but they are just not for albums.

I have also been trying to keep track of what I use in these layouts because I have been applying to different DT's and I know they like it when you list the matterials you have used.  I admit that sometimes I get so carried away with what I am doing that I forget to keep track but I am slowly learning and it is starting to come to me more and more as I do it.

For this layout I used the last bits of paper I had left over from Basic Grey's Oliver line. The canvas banner is from Studios Poppies and Peonies. The ribbon, ribbon slide, chippies, and metal embellie are all unknown. The flower and butterfly are K&Company.  The alphas are Recollections.

I love the way this one turned out.  The photo is so precious. I used Crate's Little Boy Blue collection on this layout. Everything is from that collection.

For this layout I used Basic Grey's Serenade line, I love love love this line of papers.  I used a combination of flowers, Petaloo and Prima. Both the bling and the chippie are from the Dollar store. The metal embellies are from Momenta.  The doily was in a RAK that I received.

For this layout, once again I used the lovely Basic Grey's Serenade papers, I used a Martha Stewart edge punch and Momenta chipboard embellishments.

This layout is one of my favourites I think. I love the beautiful FabScraps paper. A mixture of Prima and Dollar store flowers with a few unknown stickers.

Gotta Love Scrapping Kids

I know I really love it when I am scrapping the little ones.  My mind wanders back to when my daughter was small and how precious she was.. not that she isn't precious now but she doesn't live with me now and she she isn't wandering around now saying those cute little things or doing those little things that always made me laugh.

I have so many photos of these children to scrap that I am going to be remembering my daughter for a long time to come and therefore I am going to be enjoying my scrapping for a long time.

This first layout of Skylar with his two younger Siblings, Leah and Brayden is just too sweet. It makes me wonder if having only the one child was a wise choice.  Yeah, it was, I would never have been able to handle more than one.. heck I couldn't even handle just the one.

I had some fun with this one but alas I didn't keep very good track of what I was using... Me Bad!!What I do know, I used some Pink Paisley, some Echo Park, a little Basic Grey, and I also used a TCW stencil with Liquitex natural sand for texture. I also used a die to cut my banner.

For this next one I couldn't help think how Skylar looked so darn cute all decked out in a Fireman's outfit and how Janet never thought of being anything but a teacher. Even her second year of College she was still studying to be a teacher. Before the third year though we convinced her that that was not her niche. From the time she was 9 years old, she was into computers. She just had a thing with them, it was like she was born to them. Nothing about them escaped her tiny little mind. At nine years old she told a salesman at a Sear's store that he was going to have a "syntax error", he told her he knew what he was doing, yet he DID have a syntax error. She is now 40 years old and has never had to look for a job, it has always been headhunters looking for her. Yeah, she is very comfortable in her computer "niche".

I give you "To the Rescue".
For this layout I used Basic Grey's Serenade papers. The alphas are also from the same line. I used Momenta's Die Cuts. To cut the large background I used my Cricut Expression with the Storybook cartridge. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch for the little border. I also used a TCW's stencil with Liquidtex molding paste for some extra texture. The faux stitching was done with a Pitt Artist Black pen. To Attach the alphas I used Tombow glue.

Some Wedding layouts and others

I can't believe it!!  I just counted and I have done 30 layouts so far this month and I still have 7 days to go.  I am quite pleased with myself.  I am so blessed that Tammy brought me all her photos so I have lots to scrap and quite a choice to choose from so there is no getting bored doing the same thing all the time.

I am also very happy that Boston Fanatics have their sketch marathon going on and I have mega sketches to choose from for my layouts because I am lost without a sketch to start with.  Okay so these are not in the order in which I did them.. at least I don't think they are LOL

For this sketch I used Forever in Time's Rocket's and Sprockets Bleep Borp paper, also Recollections Rocket's and Sprockets paper. Both collections I have had in my stash forever. The alphas are Heidi Swapp. All the embellies were fussy cut from the paper. I used a White Gelly Roll pen for the faux stitching and to outline around the alphas. This was sketch #91.

I didn't use a sketch for this one. I used Momenta papers, Fancy Pants bigboard Chipboard, Ranger Black Sparkle embossing powder, Jolee's Boutique embellishments, Heidi Swapp alphas and Recollections flowers.

This one was sketch #86. I chose papers from ColorBok and Momenta after I gave my cardstock some misting with Lindy's mist using a stencil from Layer's of Color. I used my Cricut Expression and the Wedding Cartridge to cut my flowers and Michael's bling for the centers. The bit of lace is unknown and I topped it all of with a bit of stickles for some sparkle. I also used some diecuts from Momenta. The faux stitching was done with a Pitt Artist Medium Black pen.

Sketch #82 was the perfect sketch for this layout even though it was a card sketch :)  I used paper from MME's Boy Crazy, also the title is from the same line. I used a Fiskar's punch for the edge.  The chipboard is from Little Yellow Bicycle.

I used sketch #90 for this one. Love love love this sketch. I kinda stuck to it too cause I really liked it LOL
I used Momenta and ColorBok papers for this layout. I cut the black flower with the Cricut and the Wedding cartridge, the title was also cut with the cricut and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, the white flowers were cut with a Sizzix die. I used Michael's bling for the center of the flowers. The swirls and the rings are Momenta diecuts. I also used a Viva Pearl Pen in liquid white on the title.

That's it for me for day.. I'm off to do some more scrapping.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I've been having some fun.

Indeed I have.  I have been just scrapping away here.  I have my DT work all caught up for a while so I decided to play with some of the sketches from Boston Scrap Fanatics.  They have posted over 80 sketches so far this month and you know me, I LOVE sketches.

This one was for sketch #88.
For this layout I used a mix of papers, Crate's Story Teller, KaiserCraft's Up, Up and Away, and MME's The Sweetest Thing and I used a Recollections edge punch and a die to cut the gears. I used my Cricut Expressions to cut the title

This one was for sketch #77.
For this layout I used paper and embellishments by Momenta. The two larger flowers were cut with a Sizzix die. For the faux stitching I used a gelly roll pen.

This one was for sketch #80.
For this layout I used paper from Echo Park's - That's My Boy.  I used my super duper Kreaxions circle cutter.  I also used some Blended Fiber paste and a stencil on the background for a bit of texture.  I drew the rocket on a piece of paper and then cut it out of the patterned paper, then I glued it to chipboard. I adhered it with pop dots.

This one was for sketch #54.
For this layout I used paper from MME.  I used my super duper Kreaxions circle cutter. I also used Kreaxions punch #910 with Stencil A. The brads are unknown. The title and faux stitching were done with a white Gelly Roll pen.

I love to hear your comments, thanks for leaving them. :)
