Using dies and stamps

This morning, very early this morning, I decided to play with a couple of new dies and some stamps that I have had for years but never used.

I started with a red background and then embossed a piece of white cardstock with an embossing folder from Sizzix.
 I used a Memory Box die to cut my tree, and an Impression Obsession  die to cut my sentiment. I stamped the Christmas gifts and the candy cane with unknown stamps and used my Kimberly Water Colour pencils to colour them. Once I had them glued to the card, I then used Stickles to give them some sparkle. 

I popped up a couple of the gifts with some pop dots to give the card some dimension.
