Sauna!!!!

Yes, I feel as though I were sitting in a sauna.  I have an A/C unit running in front of me and fan running behind me and yet the sweat is running down my neck and back.  With the humidity the temps are sitting at 91 degrees.. I don't have a thermomenter up here in my computer room but I bet it is at least 105 up here.

I have been busy today and yesterday, just a-trucking right along with the challenges, both for Down a Dirt Road and for the Flying Unicorn.

Let's start with the one's for DADR.  First of all I will  post the one's for my DT assignments.
These were also used for the Christmas in July Challenge at the Unicorn.  The paper used was the Carta Bella Christmas Day selection.

This first one was so easy to do and I am hoping to do some of these with the grandkids.

This next one is a picture of my Christmas tree, 95% of the decorations were made by me, mostly crocheted.

This one was for Alicia's challenge to create a Christmas card with a die-cut and brads, over at DADR.

Next up was the "cut it up challenge" over at the Unicorn. The requirments were to fussy cut a photo. I  love this photo of Samantha at her kindergarten graduation and the Teresa Collins -Spring Fling papers were just the thing for this layout.

Looks like Samantha is the one getting scrapped this week, here she is again.  This time she was at a fair and was getting her face painted, my daughter snapped this shot just as the painter started the butterfly on her cheek and I love the shot so much it just has to be scrapped for the future. This time the challenge was "Let's get cracking" and the requirements were: use crackle paint, use flowers and use a butterfly.
Okay that's it for me for now, maybe do another one if I can get into the scraproom later on but for right now it is way way too hot and steamy in there.
