Oh Happy Day

We used to sing that hymn in Church when I was growing up. Oh Happy Day that fixed my choice, on Thee my Savior and my My God! Well may this glowing heart rejoice, and tell its raptures all abroad. Happy day, happy day, When Jesus washed my sins away! He taught me how to watch and pray, and live rejoicing every day. What ever happened to those days, now we never or seldom ever crack open an hymn book during a service. All we sing are new fangled songs from an overhead projector. These older hymns reminded us of what God had done for us and stirred us to the very depths of our souls. Hmmm, maybe that is why we don't sing them anymore. No one wants to be reminded that they have sinned, or that they need washing. Well I thank God for the gift of His blessed Son, Jesus Christ and the blood that He sacrificed for my sin because I AM a sinner and if it weren't for that blood I would be on my way to Hell. I sin every day. I can't help it, I was born with a sinful nature.

I have spent the entire day just sitting here in my craft/computer room between scrapping and playing computer games. A lot of time thinking and praying. I did get called to go in and work for a half an hour while the boss had to go out. I discovered that I really can't work a shift unless my eye improves. I had a very difficult time just trying to ring anything in on the cash regisher. If anyone had tried to steal anything, I would not have been any the wiser. It was also a good thing that the stations beep when someone wants gas and a light flashes because otherwise I would not have known that either. However on the other hand, I did discover that I can scrap my heart out. I also find I get headaches a lot more now and that I like an afternoon nap which is something I NEVER did before. I think it is because of the strain on my eyes.

I am disappointed that I have had to put my Bible course on hold because study/reading is much to difficult in the present condition. Once I no longer have the concern of an infection setting in though and I can put a patch directly over the eye then I should be able to continue without problems. I am looking forward to getting back to them, they are VERY interesting.

Okay, here are the two layouts I completed today in time to take photos. I also completed a two pager but I have to wait til tomorrow to take a photo of it.
The first layout is of us waiting for the train. The train takes you through an area of the Safari where you can't get any other way. We had a wait of approximately 45 minutes. The kids got extremely restless and were climbing over everthing including us. Once again I have used my gorgeous Noteworthy products ... I LOVE this stuff can't you tell :)

This second layout is of photos that Janet took from the train. The views were so gorgeous.. and some animals that couldn't be found anywhere else in the park. The one thing I thought to be ironic, the sign that says to keep arms and legs inside the train.. yet the train operator sat with her legs hanging off the side of the train the entire trip. Once again I called on the Noteworthy products.. do you think I am getting addicted to them? LOL

Have a wonderful night and I will be back tomorrow God willing.
